Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to study normed hypervector spaces. We generalize some definitions such as basis, convexity, operator norm, closed set, Cauchy sequences, and continuity in such spaces and prove some theorems about them.

Abstract

We prove that continuous sentences preserved by the ultramean construction (a generalization of the ultraproduct construction) are exactly those sentences which are approximated by linear sentences. Continuous sentences preserved by linear elementary equivalence are exactly those sentences which are approximated in the Riesz space generated by linear sentences. Also, characterizations for linear $Delta_n$-sentences and positive linear theories will be given.

Abstract

A positive integer is called a repdigit if it has only one distinct digit in its decimal expansion. In this paper, we find all repdigits that are products of consecutive Pell or Pell–Lucas numbers. This paper continues previous work which dealt with finding occurrences of repdigits in the Pell and Pell–Lucas sequences.
